Medical Assistant
About This Role
Espinosa Neuroscience Institute is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on clinical experience in a high-level neuroscience practice while building a long-term career in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- •Prepare patients for visits, exams, and procedures
- •Take vital signs and document medical histories
- •Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures
- •Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- •Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- •Communicate physician instructions and educational information to patients
- •Follow all clinical, safety, and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent required
- ✓College education preferred
- ✓Medical Assistant certification preferred
- ✓At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
- ✓Familiarity with EMR systems
- ✓Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- ✓Compassionate, professional, and eager to learn
